Rahimia Institute of Quranic Sciences strives to foster collectivism and instill unity of thought among the responsible youth of the country. With its five campuses in Karachi, Sukkhur, Rawalpindi, Multan and Lahore, Rahimia Institute is rapidly preparing conscientious, intelligent, socially-aware human resource educated to take on the challenge of country’s development.
Rahimia Institute considers the youth of this country an asset which must be valued and groomed to accept the responsibility of this society. The Institute manages to do this by proactively engaging the youngsters of this country through various seminars, discussion forums, Friday congregations and numerous other activities. The primary objective of all these activities is to instill among Pakistani youth the significance of systematically understanding the Quranic principles of a worthy society.
Rahimia Institute operates like a modern research and educational organization. The main campus at Lahore has a fully equipped modern library that can boast a huge collection ranging from Islamic philosophy to modern economic management of the world. The institute also has a modern Wi-Fi equipped work environment with latest computers. The Institute publishes a research journal Shaoor-o-Agahi along with a monthly Rahimia which features current affairs analyses and brief descriptions of Quran and Hadith for contemporary minds. Along with these, the Publications department of Rahimia Institute, regularly publishes books on important issues of religious and historical significance.
The Lahore campus also has three halls of considerable size that can accommodate up to 500 individuals each. One of these three halls is used as a Prayer Hall, while the rest of the two are used for Seminars and other programmes that are held throughout the year. While most of the programmes are held for people living in and around Lahore, some of the bigger programmes are arranged at different times of the year in which participants from all over the country participate. The biggest one is the annual Ramzan-ul-Mubarik congregation. Since, the Institute offers limited space that is why participants from different regions of the country participate in turns. Another bigger programme is the 15-day Dora-e-Tafseer-ul-Quran programme held annually at the onset of summer vacation to facilitate bright students of professional colleges and universities of the country in their quest to understand Quranic philosophy.
